Peak Madara vs Peak Sasuke: Who Would Win the Ultimate Uchiha Fight?

Who would win, peak Madara or peak Sasuke? We compare Six Paths Madara with end-of-war Sasuke: eyes, chakra, signature techniques and best feats. Madara takes it narrowly, but Sasuke's Rinnegan gives him real counters.

Peak Madara vs Peak Sasuke: Who Would Win the Ultimate Uchiha Fight?

Quick answer: Peak Madara wins, but narrowly. At his peak, as the Ten-Tails jinchuriki with both Rinnegan and the Rinne Sharingan (often called Six Paths Madara), Madara has more chakra, more abilities and decades more battle experience. Peak Sasuke, with his Rinnegan, Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and Six Paths power from the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, has real counters, especially Amenotejikara and the ability to see Limbo. Most fans and most of the canon evidence give Madara a mid-to-high difficulty win.

Spoiler note: this article covers the Fourth Great Ninja War and briefly mentions Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

Madara Uchiha's strengths

Madara co-founded the Hidden Leaf Village with Hashirama Senju, his friend and rival (his brother was Izuna, whose eyes gave Madara his Eternal Mangekyo). At his peak he has:

  • Six Paths Sage Mode and Ten-Tails chakra, giving him huge reserves, flight and regeneration.

  • Limbo: Border Jail, invisible shadow clones in another dimension that only the Rinnegan can see.

  • Truth-Seeking Balls, which can nullify ninjutsu and shape into weapons.

  • Perfect Susanoo, which can cut mountains, plus Wood Release from Hashirama's cells.

  • Meteor drops like Tengai Shinsei.

  • The Rinne Sharingan, used to cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

He was nearly killed by Might Guy's Night Guy (Eighth Gate), which shows he can be hurt, but very few people in the series can do that.

Sasuke Uchiha's strengths

At the end of the war, Sasuke receives Hagoromo's Yin power and awakens a Rinnegan with six tomoe. That gives him:

  • Amenotejikara, an instant position swap that lets him dodge, reposition and redirect attacks.

  • The ability to see Limbo clones, removing one of Madara's biggest advantages.

  • Perfect Susanoo with lightning-charged arrows and blades.

  • Indra's Arrow, charged with the chakra of all nine tailed beasts, which matched Naruto's full-power Rasengan at the Valley of the End.

  • Chibaku Tensei, used together with Naruto to seal Kaguya.

When Madara cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi, Sasuke used his Rinnegan and Susanoo to shield Team 7 from it. That matters in this fight: Madara cannot simply end it with a genjutsu.

How the fight probably goes

Early on, Sasuke's Rinnegan lets him see Limbo, and Amenotejikara lets him escape Truth-Seeking Balls. He can trade blows with Madara's Susanoo.

In the long run, Madara's chakra is far bigger. Amenotejikara needs time to recharge between uses, and his Susanoo drains him. Madara can fly, regenerate and keep attacking, while Sasuke has no healing of his own.

The decider: Sasuke's best feats came alongside Naruto. On his own, without the tailed beast chakra he borrowed for Indra's Arrow, he has no clear way to put Madara down. Madara can outlast him.

Our verdict: Madara wins with mid-to-high difficulty. If "peak Sasuke" means the Valley of the End version charged with all nine tailed beasts, it becomes much closer, and some fans give that version the edge.

What about Sasuke in Boruto?

Adult Sasuke is more skilled but not stronger in raw power. In Boruto, he loses his Rinnegan in the fight with Isshiki, and in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex he is turned into a tree during the time-skip. As of 2026, he has not returned. So "peak Sasuke" still means the end of Naruto Shippuden for most fans. For more on where Naruto's story stands now, see when Boruto Shippuden will come.

Verdict

Peak Madara beats peak Sasuke in most scenarios because of his chakra, regeneration and experience. Sasuke's Rinnegan gives him the tools to survive and make it a great fight, but not enough to win alone. FAQs

Peak Sasuke vs peak Madara: who would win?

Peak Madara, narrowly. His Ten-Tails chakra and regeneration let him outlast Sasuke, whose Rinnegan helps him survive but not finish the fight alone.

Madara vs Sasuke: who would win at full power?

Madara in most scenarios. Only the Valley of the End Sasuke, charged with all nine tailed beasts' chakra, makes it genuinely close.

Is Sasuke stronger than Madara?

Not at their peaks. Sasuke is more versatile in some ways, but Madara has more chakra, more techniques and more experience.

Can Sasuke see Madara's Limbo clones?

Yes. Limbo clones can only be seen with the Rinnegan, and Sasuke has one.

Is Sasuke stronger in Boruto?

He is more experienced, but he loses his Rinnegan in Boruto and is turned into a tree in Two Blue Vortex, so he is weaker than his Shippuden peak.
