Best Agents for Bind in Valorant (2026): Tier List, Team Comps and Site Guide

Bind is back in the ranked map pool. Brimstone, Viper and Raze lead the 2026 Bind tier list, with Fade, Skye, Yoru and Cypher close behind. See pro picks, a site-by-site guide, three team comps and how to use the teleporters.

Best Agents for Bind in Valorant (2026): Tier List, Team Comps and Site Guide

Bind is the map with no mid. Instead, two one-way teleporters link the attacker-side approaches to A and B, so rotations are short, fakes are cheap and fights happen in tight corridors like A Short, Showers, Hookah and B Long. That layout favours agents with strong area denial, short-range smokes and utility that clears corners.

Quick answer: the best agents for Bind in 2026 are Brimstone and Viper (double controller), Raze for entry, Fade or Skye for information, and Yoru, Neon or Waylay as a second duelist. In ranked, swap the second duelist for Cypher or Killjoy to watch the flank. At Masters Santiago 2026, the most-picked Bind agents were Viper (about 56% of teams), Brimstone (50%), Fade and Yoru (about 44% each). A strong ranked comp is Brimstone, Viper, Raze, Skye and Cypher. Bind is back in the Competitive and Premier map pool since patch 13.08 on 13 October 2026, so these picks matter right now.

Is Bind in the map pool?

Yes. Patch 13.08 (13 October 2026) added Bind and Corrode back to Competitive and Deathmatch and removed Ascent and Split. The current ranked pool is Abyss, Bind, Corrode, Haven, Lotus, Summit and Sunset. Bind was also in the pool at the start of 2026, when it was played at Masters Santiago, before rotating out for a few acts. You can check the change in the official patch 13.08 notes.

What makes Bind different

  • No mid. Every fight happens at a site or in the paths to it. There is no central area to control.

  • Teleporters. Two one-way teleporters connect the attacker-side approaches to A and B. Using one makes a loud sound, which defenders can listen for, but it also makes fakes and fast switches easy.

  • Tight chokes. A Short, A Showers, Hookah and B Long are narrow. A smoke or molly here stops a whole push.

  • Short rotations for both sides. Defenders can rotate through the links behind the sites; attackers can use the teleporters. Information wins more rounds than aim on Bind.

Bind agent tier list (2026)

Tier

Agents

Why they work on Bind

S

Brimstone, Viper, Raze

Short-range Sky Smokes and Stim, a wall that splits sites, grenades that clear corridors

A

Fade, Skye, Yoru, Cypher

Corner-clearing information, flashes, teleport fakes, flank watch

B

Neon, Waylay, Killjoy, Astra, Gekko, Sage

Fast hits, site anchors and a second smoke option

C

Omen, Sova, Jett, Chamber

Workable, but others offer more on Bind's tight layout

Pros skipped Omen and Sova on Bind at Masters Santiago 2026. Omen's smokes are great elsewhere, but Brimstone's three instant Sky Smokes plus Stim Beacon fit Bind's quick executes better. Sova's Recon Bolt has fewer safe lineups in Bind's tight spaces than Fade's Haunt or Skye's Trailblazer.

This is based on eight Bind maps, so treat it as a trend, not a rule. The pattern is clear, though: Brimstone plus Viper, a corner-clearing initiator and one or two aggressive duelists. Trap sentinels were barely used by pros on Bind, but they remain very useful in ranked where flanks are less coordinated.

The best agents for Bind, explained

Brimstone

Brimstone is made for Bind. His Sky Smokes go down together in one quick action, which is perfect for fast executes onto A or B. Stim Beacon speeds up your team's entry and fire rate, his Incendiary stops defuses in the small sites, and Orbital Strike clears a cramped site or the Spike in post-plant.

Viper

Viper's Toxic Screen splits a site and blocks several defender angles at once, while her Poison Cloud can be picked up and reused to smoke a choke like Hookah or Showers. On defence, a wall plus Snake Bite in B Long or A Short slows pushes for a long time. Her ultimate, Viper's Pit, is very strong on Bind's small sites.

Raze

Bind's corridors are Raze's playground. Paint Shells and the Boom Bot clear Showers, Hookah and site corners, and Blast Pack lets her jump onto site or into unexpected angles. Showstopper is a near-guaranteed multi-kill when defenders stack in a small space. This is why Raze has been a Bind staple for years.

Fade or Skye

Fade's Haunt reveals defenders around corners, and her Prowlers chase them out of Lamps, Truck or Garden. Skye's Trailblazer dog clears tight angles, Guiding Light flashes around corners and Regrowth heals the team between fights. Pick Fade for information, Skye if your team needs heals.

Yoru, Neon or Waylay

The second duelist punishes Bind's short rotations. Yoru can teleport through one site's approach and appear behind defenders, or fake a hit with his Fakeout. Neon and Waylay use speed to hit a site before rotations arrive.

Cypher or Killjoy (for ranked)

Without a mid, flanks on Bind come through the teleporters and the long paths behind attackers. Cypher's Trapwire and Spycam can watch those routes or anchor B. Killjoy's Turret and Alarmbot hold A Short or Hookah, and Lockdown is excellent on Bind's small sites. In solo queue, this safety is worth more than a second duelist.

Site-by-site guide

A site

  • Entrances: A Short (with the doorway and Lamps), A Showers, and the defender links behind the site.

  • Attack with: Brimstone smokes on Heaven and Lamps, a Viper wall to cut the back of site, and Raze grenades into Showers.

  • Defend with: Killjoy or Cypher holding Short, a Viper Poison Cloud ready to block Showers, and a Brimstone molly for the default plant.

B site

  • Entrances: B Long, Hookah (the window room overlooking site) and the defender side through Elbow and Garden.

  • Attack with: a Viper wall down B Long, Fade's Haunt into Hookah, and a Brimstone smoke on Elbow. Taking Hookah early gives you two ways onto site.

  • Defend with: one player holding Hookah with utility and a sentinel or Viper delaying B Long. Pushing Hookah early in a round gives your team key information.

Best Bind team comps

1. Pro-style comp: Brimstone, Viper, Fade, Raze, Yoru

Double controller for fast, safe executes; Fade for information; Raze and Yoru for aggressive entries and teleport fakes. This mirrors the most-picked Bind agents in VCT 2026.

2. Ranked comp: Brimstone, Viper, Skye, Raze, Cypher

The easiest strong comp for solo queue. Skye heals and flashes, Raze clears corners and Cypher stops teleporter flanks. Everyone has a clear job.

3. Beginner-friendly comp: Brimstone, Sage, Gekko, Raze, Killjoy

Brimstone's smokes are easy to place, Sage's wall and heals make holds simple, Gekko's Wingman can plant or defuse, and Killjoy's gadgets work without great aim. If aim is your weak spot, see our best Valorant agents for bad aim.

Our earlier "balanced Bind squad", updated

The original version of this guide recommended Raze, Omen, Cypher, Killjoy and Skye. It still works in casual games, but in 2026 swapping Omen for Brimstone or Viper and one sentinel for Fade or a second controller makes it much stronger on attack.

How to attack Bind

  1. Use the teleporters to fake. Send one player through the teleporter for noise, then hit the other site with four.

  2. Take Hookah or Showers early. Controlling one of these gives you a second entry to the site.

  3. Execute fast. Brimstone's smokes and Stim Beacon are built for a quick, all-in hit before rotations arrive.

  4. Post-plant with mollies and Orbital Strike. Bind's small sites make lineups very effective.

How to defend Bind

  1. Listen for the teleporter. It is loud. A quick call can save a site.

  2. Delay chokes with utility. One Viper wall, Killjoy setup or Sage wall can hold A Short or B Long for a long time.

  3. Rotate early on information. Bind's rotations are short, so don't over-commit before you know where the push is.

  4. Retake with ultimates. Lockdown, Viper's Pit and Orbital Strike are ideal for Bind retakes.

Agents to avoid on Bind

  • Sova: his best tools need open space and fixed lineups; Fade and Skye do the job better here.

  • Jett and Chamber: Bind has few long Operator angles, so their strengths are wasted.

  • Hush: the new telekinetic duelist from patch 13.09 is still untested on Bind. Wait for her meta to settle before trusting her here.

The verdict

Bind rewards control, not mid fights. Lock in Brimstone and Viper, add Raze to clear corridors and Fade or Skye for information, then choose Yoru (for fakes) or Cypher (for flank safety) as your fifth. With Bind back in the ranked pool, this is the comp to learn now. For the rest of the pool, read our guides to Haven, Lotus and Sunset.
